New Troy is a community that is not officially incorporated and is recognized as a census-designated place in Berrien County, Michigan. According to the 2020 census, the population of New Troy was 483.
Geography
The community is on the northern side of the Galien River in the northwestern part of Weesaw Township. It is about 6 miles (10 km) south of Bridgman.
The United States Census Bureau reports that the CDP covers a total area of 1.3 square miles (3.4 km). Out of this area, 0.0019 square miles (0.005 km), or 0.14%, is water.
Mill Road-Galien River Bridge
The Mill Road-Galien River Bridge is listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior. As noted on the plaque, the Galien River Bridge is one of the few remaining concrete camelback bridges in Michigan.
