The Douglass-Truth Branch is a library in Seattle, Washington, United States. It was first called Yesler Memorial Library but was renamed in 1975 to honor Frederick Douglass and Sojourner Truth. The library has the largest collection of African-American literature and history on the West Coast.

Detroit Public Library Main Branch

The Main Branch is the central location of the Detroit Public Library System in Detroit, Michigan. It is found in the Midtown neighborhood of Detroit, between Woodward Avenue and Cass Avenue. The Main Branch was designed by Cass Gilbert and built using Vermont marble and serpentine marble trim from Italy, following the Italian Renaissance-style architecture.

Cadillac Place, formerly known as the General Motors Building, is an important tall office building located at 3044 West Grand Boulevard (between Cass and Second Streets) in the New Center area of Detroit, Michigan, United States. It was named after Antoine Laumet de La Mothe, sieur de Cadillac (1658–1730), who was the Royal French founder of the earlier French and British settlements of Fort Detroit and the later City of Detroit. Cadillac Place is a National Historic Landmark in Michigan, added to the list in 1985.

Built from 1928 to 1929, the building was originally called the Union Trust Building and is a bold example of Art Deco architecture and Art Moderne designs. It was named a National Historic Landmark in 1989 and is currently owned by Wayne County.
